Theme announced: Get Set!
Creative Head of DDW22 Miriam van der Lubbe announced the theme of the Dutch Design Week 2022 (DDW22) for this year: Get Set. The theme indicates a shift in mentality: from preparation to action. A signal that has emerged from various encounters with the design community. Get Set was announced by Miriam in a live Q&A on Instagram with designer Pete Fung. Watch the full interview with Miriam or read the article.
The Call for Entries has been underway for a while. In fact, you have less than a month to register as a participant. So you want to participate but haven’t registered yet? Then do that now! Follow the 3 steps to register in My DDW. Register here.
October is still a way off and hopefully we have a very nice summer ahead of us. But in the meantime, they are already working hard behind the scenes on organising DDW22. Because of course, there’s still a lot to do! And so team DDW is busy planning the event. There’s plenty going on. Conversations with the design community, potential ambassadors, possible locations, various media and much more.
